Promotional Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 10 August 2026

1. Scope and status of this document

1.1 These Promotional Terms and Conditions apply to every promotion operated by MGE DIGITAL CANADA INC. (Ontario Corporation Number 2864039, 22 Adelaide Street West, Suite 3400, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 4E3, Canada) for players holding an account with this service.

1.2 They are published here so that the rules can be read in full, at any time, by anyone — including before a promotion is offered and after it has ended. Publishing them is a transparency measure. It is not an advertisement.

1.3 These terms sit alongside our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Where a specific promotion has its own terms, those terms are published with the promotion in the account area.

1.4 In this document, “promotion” means any offer that changes the ordinary commercial terms of play — for example a credit, a free or discounted stake, a return of a loss, a prize draw or a tournament.

2. Who may take part

2.1 To be eligible for any promotion you must:

  • hold an account with this service in your own name;
  • have completed identity and age verification, so that your account is not in the “pending verification” state;
  • be at least 19 years of age;
  • be a resident of Ontario and physically located there;
  • not be subject to a self-exclusion, a cooling-off period or any account restriction; and
  • meet any additional condition stated in the specific terms of that promotion.

2.2 A promotion may be limited to a defined group of players — for example those who have not played a particular category of game before. Any such limitation is stated in the specific terms of that promotion.

2.3 Employees of MGE DIGITAL CANADA INC., of our suppliers, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible.

2.4 A player who has self-excluded is not eligible during the exclusion and is not contacted about promotions at any point during it, regardless of any consent given beforehand.

3. How promotions are offered

3.1 Promotions are communicated inside the account area, and by email or other direct message only where you have given express, separate consent to receive marketing.

3.2 Consent to marketing is optional. It is unticked by default at registration, it can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing it has no effect on your account or on your ability to play.

3.3 Promotions are not advertised on the public pages of this website. Bonuses, credits, free stakes and similar offers do not appear on the home page, the About page, the FAQ or any other page reachable without an account.

3.4 We do not use countdowns, artificial scarcity, or language designed to create urgency. If an offer has an end date, the date is stated plainly.

4. Taking part, and opting out

4.1 Unless the specific terms say otherwise, participation is a choice you make: a promotion is not applied to your account automatically.

4.2 You may decline any promotion. You may also ask us to exclude you from promotional offers entirely, permanently or for a period, without closing your account.

4.3 Where a promotion is active on your account, the account area shows what remains outstanding under it — the amount, the requirement still to be met and the date it expires — so that you can see your position without having to calculate it.

4.4 You may cancel your participation in an active promotion at any time. On cancellation, any promotional credit and anything won from it is removed; your own funds are unaffected.

5. Wagering requirements and how they are calculated

5.1 A wagering requirement is the total amount that must be staked before an amount derived from a promotion can be withdrawn. It exists so that a credit is used for play rather than withdrawn immediately.

5.2 A wagering requirement is always expressed as a multiple and as the base it applies to. For example, “20× the bonus amount” means that if the promotional credit is $10, a total of $200 must be staked. Where the multiple applies to the deposit as well, that is stated explicitly as “20× (deposit + bonus)”.

5.3 Progress is measured by the total amount staked, not by wins or losses. A stake counts towards the requirement whether the round wins or loses.

5.4 Where you hold both your own funds and promotional funds, your own funds are staked first unless the specific terms state otherwise, so that you are never prevented from withdrawing your own money because a promotion is outstanding.

5.5 Your current progress towards any wagering requirement is shown in your account and updates as you play. If our figure and your own calculation disagree, ask us and we will show you the record.

6. Game contribution

6.1 Different categories of game may contribute at different rates towards a wagering requirement. Where that is the case, the rate for each category is stated in the specific terms of the promotion.

6.2 Some games may be excluded from a promotion entirely. Excluded games are listed in the specific terms. Stakes placed on an excluded game do not count towards the requirement and do not reduce the promotional balance.

6.3 We will not apply a contribution rate or an exclusion that was not published with the promotion at the time you took part.

7. Time limits

7.1 A promotion may be available for a limited period, and any credit issued under it may have to be used within a stated time.

7.2 Both periods are stated in the specific terms, with a clear start and end, expressed in Eastern Time.

7.3 When a period expires, the unused promotional credit and anything won from it that remains subject to an outstanding requirement is removed. Your own funds are never removed on expiry.

7.4 We will not shorten a stated period after a promotion has begun, except where we are required to do so by law or by the regulator.

8. Maximum conversion and maximum stake

8.1 A promotion may cap the amount that can be converted from promotional funds into withdrawable funds. Where a cap applies it is stated as a fixed amount or as a multiple of the credit, and anything above the cap is removed when the requirement is completed.

8.2 A promotion may cap the stake per round while promotional funds are in play. Where a cap applies, it is stated in the specific terms.

8.3 Where a stake cap is exceeded, we may recalculate the outcome of the affected rounds and remove the excess benefit. We will explain what was recalculated and why.

9. Withdrawing while a promotion is active

9.1 You may withdraw your own funds at any time, subject to the usual verification checks.

9.2 Requesting a withdrawal while a wagering requirement is outstanding ends your participation in that promotion: the promotional credit and anything won from it is removed, and your own funds are paid out.

9.3 The account area states, before you confirm a withdrawal, what will be lost by doing so.

10. Abuse, multiple accounts and irregular play

10.1 The following are prohibited:

  • opening or using more than one account to obtain a promotion more than once;
  • taking part through an account that is not yours, or arranging for someone else to take part on your behalf;
  • acting together with other players to guarantee a return from a promotion, including by covering opposing outcomes across accounts;
  • using patterns of play designed solely to satisfy a wagering requirement at minimal risk rather than to play the game;
  • exploiting a defect, a mispriced offer or an obvious error in the terms of a promotion; and
  • providing false information to qualify for a promotion.

10.2 Where we identify conduct of this kind, we may withdraw the promotion from the account, remove the promotional funds and any winnings derived from them, and — where the conduct also breaches our Terms and Conditions — suspend or close the account. Your own deposited funds are returned.

10.3 We will tell you what we have found and what we have done, and you may challenge the decision through our complaints procedure.

11. Changing or ending a promotion

11.1 We may amend, suspend or end a promotion. Where we do, we will give notice through the account area and, where you have consented to receive messages from us, by email.

11.2 A change does not apply retroactively. If you were already taking part before the change, the terms in force when you joined continue to apply to your participation, and you keep any benefit already earned.

11.3 The exception is a change we are required to make by law or by the regulator, or one made to correct an error under section 13. In that case we will explain the reason and, where the change disadvantages you, we will not leave you worse off than if you had not taken part.

11.4 Ending a promotion does not remove a wagering requirement you are already working through: you keep the stated period in which to complete it.

12. Which terms take precedence

12.1 Where the specific terms of a promotion conflict with this document, the specific terms prevail for that promotion.

12.2 Where this document conflicts with our general Terms and Conditions, this document prevails on promotional matters and the general Terms prevail on everything else.

12.3 There are no unpublished conditions. If a rule is not written in the specific terms of the promotion or in this document, it does not apply to you.

13. Errors

13.1 If a promotion is published with an obvious error — a misstated amount, a misconfigured multiple, an incorrect date — we may correct it and adjust accounts accordingly.

13.2 We will tell affected players what the error was, what has been corrected and how it affects them. We will not use this clause to reverse a benefit that was correctly earned under the terms as published.

14. Responsible gaming

14.1 A promotion never overrides a limit you have set. Deposit, loss and session time limits continue to apply while a promotion is active, and a promotion cannot be used to exceed them.

14.2 We do not offer promotions as a response to losses, and we do not use them to encourage a player to continue after a losing session.

14.3 If you would rather not see promotional offers at all, ask us and we will exclude you from them.

14.4 Promotional credit is not free money and taking part does not improve the odds of any game. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, ConnexOntario is available at any hour on 1-866-531-2600, and our Responsible Gaming page explains every control available to you.

15. Complaints

15.1 If you disagree with how a promotion has been applied to your account, raise it through our Complaints and Procedures. Include the promotion, the date and what you expected to happen.

15.2 If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may refer the matter to an independent dispute resolution provider and to the provincial regulator, as set out on that page.
